Orphan Care
Over 147 million orphans world-wide. Can we rescue them all? No, but we can rescue one - one at a time. PVCC has a heart for the orphans for two primary reasons. First, we love the orphans because God loves the orphans. Second, we must love and seek to rescue the orphans because as believers, we used to be orphans ourselves. Yet God in His grace chose to adopt us into his family through the death and resurrection of His Son. At PVCC, one of our great passions is to encourage our people to rescue the orphans, whether it be through adoption, foster care, or praying for and financially supporting others. It is our dream (and we're already seeing this coming to pass), that PVCC will be a church filled with former orphans - that children from all over the world, red and yellow, black and white, will fill the hallways of PVCC.
In addition to preaching often on the biblical mandate to rescue the orphans, PVCC is thrilled to have our very own adoption fund (the ABBA Fund), whereby we help our members overcome the financial obstacles in adoption.
